It is with a heavy heart that I am writing to announce the permanent closure of Healthworks Chestnut Hill on Thursday, November 18 at 8:00pm. Since opening our doors 18 years ago, we have been honored to serve you and the community. This community of women empowers us every day and your commitment to our club and your own health is extraordinary, but the loss of members during the COVID-19 pandemic has now become insurmountable. We know this is devastating news for many of you and our teams, but as with everything at Healthworks, we will get through this together. All other Healthworks Group locations are in a strong position to recover post-pandemic and we expect to serve those communities for many years to come.

We could not be more grateful for the amazing members and staff that have kept us going throughout the pandemic. We know it wasn't easy for you and we appreciate all of your support. In addition to our members and staff, we would also like to give a special thanks to our landlord, a local company, who has worked with us over an extended period to help sustain our efforts to continue to serve our members.

Our last day of membership billing will be October 31, 2021 but in order to ensure you can continue to meet your health and wellness goals, we are offering all Chestnut Hill members complimentary access to all other Healthworks, Republic Fitness and GymIt locations, plus HWX Digital Studio through 1/31/22. We hope this gives you time to visit our other clubs and determine which is best for you. Once you have picked a new home club, please complete this form and we will transfer your membership.

If you decide not to continue with Healthworks, there is no need to do anything. We will not bill you after 10/31/21 and your membership will automatically expire on 1/31/22. We are sad to see you go, but appreciate the many years of you have spent with us.

We are happy to refund any available pre-paid services or membership dues after we close. To request a refund, please fill out this form (your agreement number is ) and we will mail you a check in December. Please understand that our goal is to support everyone, but it will take us some time to get all the refunds processed and mailed. Please make sure any request for a refund is with this form as emails, conversations or phone calls may be missed.

Our team is at the heart of everything we do, and we are committed to taking care of them during this transition. Our goal is that every team member will take an equivalent position at one of our other locations. Most of them just heard this news yesterday and we are meeting with them now to review options and support them.

We know there will be many more questions in the coming weeks, and we are here to support you. To start, we have created an FAQ page to answer some initial questions.

If you are currently a personal training or massage therapy client, you will be receiving additional communication about next steps with our team and options to continue to enjoy Healthworks services.
